A family in Los Angeles finds themselves separated during a convergence of history's greatest disasters: a super volcano, a mega earthquake and a massive twister. While the world endures this near apocalyptic event, our heroes must persevere on their own skills and wit to reunite and survive.

As shark-infested storms grow stronger and more complex, the world braces for the inevitable - a global sharknado. This year, the mission gets personal for chainsaw-wielding leader Fin Shepard and his bionic wife, April, when their young son gets trapped in a sharknado and is transported all over the world.

It's been five years since the last Sharknado that devastated Washington, D.C. and the world is benefiting from this hard-earned peace. Aston Reynolds' tech company Astro-X with their revolutionary atmosphere stabilizers called Astro-Pods, managed to eradicate all possible Sharknado formations, before they could get the chance to grow in magnitude. Fin, is heading to Vegas for a family reunion, some fun and relaxation, but before long, menacing clouds are forming once again and a brand new Sharknado is at hand.
